Don’t miss the culinaric part of Madeira. First of all there is black scabbardfish, also called Espada, which is traditonally served with fried banana and marajuca sauce. But don’t confuse it with Espetada, beef on laurel stick. Next to fish and meat you should definitely try the loved Bolo de Caco, a typical Madeiran bread with a lot of garlic butter.
